Ralston Valley has gone a perfect 3-0 against Mountain Vista recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Mustangs will square off against the Golden Eagles at 3:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated after 12 games, but that won't be the case come Saturday.
Ralston Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They really took it to Mullen for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-14 win. Considering Ralston Valley has won nine games by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Zeke Andrews was his usual excellent self, rushing for 81 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 262 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes. Levi Rillos was in the mix as well, providing Ralston Valley with two TDs.
Ralston Valley's run defense was locked in: Mullen could only muster 0.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Degan Gregory for the heroic effort on defense: he. Ralston Valley's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 5.1.
Ralston Valley's defense didn't let Cole Parsons, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. In that department, Cole Trebilcock was the leader with two.
Meanwhile, Mountain Vista faced Arvada West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Golden Eagles strolled past the Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 36-21.
Ralston Valley better keep an eye on Hudson Modrzewski. He was instrumental in Mountain Vista's win, rushing for 210 yards and five scores while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also picking up 31 receiving yards. Modrzewski showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 57 yards. Another player making a difference was Marquise Reese, who threw for 236 yards on 15 of 23 attempts.
Ralston Valley's record now sits at 12-0. As for Mountain Vista, their record is now an identical 12-0.
Saturday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Andrews and Reese. Andrews just won't slow down this season and has thrown 25 touchdowns while averaging 241.5 passing yards per game. Reese has been a dominant force too and has thrown 42 touchdowns (and and only 7 picks) while averaging 256.8 passing yards per game.
Ralston Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Mountain Vista in their previous matchup back in August of 2023, but they still walked away with a 13-7 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Golden Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
