Downers Grove South is 9-1 against Hinsdale South since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hornets at 6:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, Hinsdale South entered their tilt with Marist on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They never let the RedHawks get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The result was nothing new for Hinsdale South, who have now won eight contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Hinsdale South's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those four matchups. As for Downers Grove South, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-2.

Everything went Downers Grove South's way against Hinsdale South in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Downers Grove South made off with a 4-1 victory. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
