Nixa lost to Liberty back in April of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell just short of the Blue Jays by a score of 3-2. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Nixa's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Liberty, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nixa will host Willard at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they will take on Webb City at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
