Bayside Academy has won seven straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Montgomery Academy has won seven straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Admirals will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bayside Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Randolph County 47-7. With the Admirals ahead 40-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Bayside Academy can attribute much of their success to Davis Barnett, who threw for 256 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes, and Brennen Yamane, who rushed for 32 yards and three TDs. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Yamane a new career-high.
Bayside Academy didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Randolph County to a completion percentage of just 48.7%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from four players: Billy Neill, Hayden Coumanis, Grant Yaeger, and John Ben Wilkinson, who each logged one passes deflected. Bayside Academy has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.62 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.62 in their last three games.
Bayside Academy's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for six sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Owen Reineck and Will Allen, who each picked up 1.5 sacks apiece.
Meanwhile, Montgomery Academy never let their opponents score on Friday. They breezed past Lee-Scott Academy to the tune of 38-0.
Montgomery Academy's win came from a few key players Bayside Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ali Nelson, who rushed for 100 yards and three scores. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 rushing yards. Reid McBride was another key player, throwing for 194 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Bayside Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Montgomery Academy, their win bumped their record up to an identical 11-1.
Friday's game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Barnett and McBride. Barnett just won't slow down this season and has thrown 39 touchdowns while averaging 230.1 passing yards per game. McBride has been a dominant force too and has thrown 30 touchdowns (and and only 2 picks) while averaging 192 passing yards per game.
We should be in store for an exciting game as Bayside Academy and Montgomery Academy have no problem gaining yardage. The Admirals have been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 378.6 total yards per game. However, it's not like Montgomery Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 402.8 total yards.
