The Clovis West Golden Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Clovis North Broncos at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
On Tuesday, Clovis West's game was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past Clovis 3-2.
Clovis West was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Nickolas Martinez and
Sammy Shmorgun, who scored all three of Clovis West's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 12 so far this season.
Meanwhile, Clovis North has not lost a match since January 12th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They and Buchanan finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.
Clovis West's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-6-3. With that draw, Clovis North's record moves to 15-1-5.
Clovis West might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from Clovis North in their previous matchup back in January. Can Clovis West avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
