Fresno Christian entered their tilt with Justin Garza on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Guardians. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered  a  3-2  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Fresno Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-17, 25-19,  26-24.
Their offense was headlined by  Jordyn Degroot and  Sarah Guglielmana, who picked up 16 kills apiece. They got some help from  Brooklyn Samarin and her 23 assists. She also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Petraeus Draper, racking up two apiece.
 Despite the loss, Justin Garza still got an impressive performance from   Maleeyah Walker, who  had 16  digs and three  aces. With that strong performance,  Walker is now averaging an impressive 10.1  digs per game.  Peyton Rohrer also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  block of the season.
Fresno Christian's record now sits at 5-2. As for Justin Garza,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-7.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fresno Christian will head out to  take on Kingsburg  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Justin Garza, they will venture away from home to  challenge Kerman  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
