The Juarez Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 54-39 win over Goode STEM Academy. The victory was just what Juarez needed coming off of a 63-23 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Juarez to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emily Flores, who scored 15 points. Flores continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Martha Patino, who scored 13 points.
Juarez's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12. As for Goode STEM Academy, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Juarez will head out on the road to face off against Kennedy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennedy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Goode STEM Academy will take on South Shore International at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Shore International is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
