Stratton/Liberty will challenge Arickaree/Woodlin on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. Arickaree/Woodlin will need to watch out since Stratton/Liberty have now posted big point totals in their last six contests.
Stratton/Liberty put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took the contest and then some with a 52-12 win over Granada. Stratton/Liberty's success was spearheaded by the efforts of senior Tyson Lichty, who passed for 104 yards and 5 touchdowns, and sophomore Jaret Lichty, who rushed for 147 yards and 1 touchdown. Lichty has been a consistent playmaker for Stratton/Liberty as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, Arickaree/Woodlin might be getting used to good results now that the squad have three wins in a row. They made easy work of Idalia and carried off a 39-14 victory. Arickaree/Woodlin were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Stratton/Liberty to 6-0 and Arickaree/Woodlin to 4-1. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
