Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Erick Morales, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Morales has scored all season. Oswaldo Lopez Vargas was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Sierra Linda's win ended a 14-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-14. As for Metro Tech, they bumped their record down to 2-16 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Sierra Linda will take on Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Washington is ranked 301st, while Sierra Linda is ranked 319th). As for Metro Tech, they will be playing at home against Fairfax at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fairfax is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
