Nyack is 0-9 against the Dutchmen since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Nyack Red Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the Tappan Zee Dutchmen at 4:30 p.m. Nyack is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
Last Friday, Nyack strolled past the Admirals with points to spare, taking the game 61-43. That's two games straight that Nyack has won by exactly 18 points.
Meanwhile, Tappan Zee had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 53-41 win over Ardsley.
Nyack's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-6. As for Tappan Zee, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Nyack came up short against the Dutchmen in their previous matchup back in January, falling 66-56. Can Nyack avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
