The Sky View Bobcats were the 72-57 winner over the Madison Bobcats when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Sky View took a 77-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Madison on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Wednesday (61), Sky View still had to take the loss.
Sky View's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Liam Guthrie, who scored 17 points. The contest was Guthrie's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Davis, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
Sky View's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Madison, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Sky View will head out on the road to face off against Manti at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison, they will be playing at home against Idaho Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
