Strawberry Crest lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chris Ramirez, who scored eight points along with six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for him. Abe Craig was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Strawberry Crest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Manatee, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-9.
Strawberry Crest will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tampa Bay Tech at 8:00 p.m. on January 9th. Tampa Bay Tech presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Strawberry Crest in Florida (Tampa Bay Tech is ranked 286th, while Strawberry Crest is ranked 742nd).
