The Hutto Hippos waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Bryan 74-53. For Hutto, this counts as revenge for the 54-51 loss the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hutto to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacob Bell, who scored 12 points along with six assists and five steals. Zachary Hicks was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Hutto has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-14 record this season. As for Bryan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-17.
Hutto will head out on the road to challenge the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Weiss will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Bryan will take on the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harker Heights is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
