The Milford Central Wildcats will play host again and welcome the Richfield Springs Central Indians, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Milford Central has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 476 points over their last seven contests.
Last Monday, Milford Central really took it to Hunter-Tannersville for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-34 victory at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-14.
Milford Central found their leader in underclassman Christian Lawson, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Lawson is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Stevens, who scored 15 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Richfield Springs Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 70-46 walloping at the hands of Sherburne-Earlville.
Milford Central's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Richfield Springs Central, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5.
