Cazenovia was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Camden 26-0. The Lakers came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 27 last week.
Vernon-Verona-Sherrill took down South Jefferson 40-10 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Oneida's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Rory McCarthy has thrown for 226 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Kyle Peck has 10 catches for 175 yards. Dylan Cafalone leads the league in rushing with 381 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Oneida takes on the Spartans. The Indians' offense has recorded 122 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while South Jefferson has permitted only 186 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Mexico takes on Cazenovia. At the moment, the Tigers are in fifth, while Tom Niedl's team is in first.
The Red Devils led Section 3 Class B - East in scoring this week after putting up 40 points on Jon Arcaro's team.
