If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Treynor. On Friday they will take on Washington at 7:00 PM. Treynor will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
Treynor put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They steamrollered Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute 55-14. The victory was familiar territory for Treynor, who now have six in a row.
Meanwhile, after flying high against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute two weeks ago, Washington came back down to earth. Washington found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 12-38 punch to the gut against Underwood.
Treynor's win lifted them to 7-1 while Washington's loss dropped them down to 2-6. We'll find out if Treynor can add another positive mark to their record or if Washington can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Treynor's step.
