After flying high against the Windsor Forest Knights last Tuesday, the Vidalia Indians came back down to earth. Vidalia fell just short of Tattnall County by a score of 60-58. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (55), Vidalia still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Vidalia still got an impressive performance from Hannah Nichols, who scored 17 points along with four steals. Nichols is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cristal Franklin, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Vidalia now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Tattnall County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-10.
Vidalia will head out on the road to take on Appling County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Vidalia has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Tattnall County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Toombs County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
