Given First Assembly Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while Northside Christian Academy is ranked 609th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
First Assembly Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ta'Bryant Wooden led the charge by scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Wooden hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for nine straight games. Quintin Roberts was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
First Assembly Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Northside Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
