After a string of four wins, the Immaculate Mustangs's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of New Fairfield by a score of 37-34. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Immaculate has scored all season.

Immaculate's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for New Fairfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Immaculate will take on Newtown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Newtown is ranked 19th, while Immaculate is ranked 20th). As for New Fairfield, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Bunnell at 7:00 p.m. Bunnell is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
