Montverde Academy is an international, coeducational, independent college prep school. Though the basketball program does not compete in the state playoffs, the school is a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association.

560-138 in 25 seasons as a head coach, including 48-6 in his two seasons at Montverde Academy. Boyle spent 23 years as the head coach at St. Patrick (Elizabeth, N.J.), winning eight state titles and four Tournament of Champions crowns during that time.
