After two games on the road, Geneva is heading back home. They will take on the Lakeside Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Geneva will be strutting in after a victory while the Dragons will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Geneva blew past the Spartans, posting a 72-31 win on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Geneva has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Lakeside's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 59-47 to Harvey. That's two games in a row now that Lakeside has lost by exactly 12 points.
Geneva is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Lakeside, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
Everything went Geneva's way against the Dragons when the teams last played back in January as the Eagles made off with a 63-42 win. Will Geneva repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
