They blew past Carolina Day, posting a 83-33 win at home. Given Christ School's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while Carolina Day is ranked 363rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Christ School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Collins, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madden Collins, who scored 16 points along with 6 assists.
Christ School has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 8-1 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Carolina Day, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christ School will take on Gaffney at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Carolina Day, they will be playing at home against Hickory Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hickory Christian Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
