The Lewiston Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They fell 65-54 to Southern. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lewiston of the 56-37 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Friday.
Despite the loss, Lewiston still got an impressive performance from Everett Bohling, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Janssen, who scored 11 points.
Lewiston has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Southern, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewiston will take on Cornerstone Christian School at TBD on Friday. As for Southern, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Thayer Central on February 9th.
