In what's become a running theme this season, the Point Arena Pirates gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 70-30 win over Calistoga on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-15.
Point Arena was led to victory by Derek Billy and Fernando Lopez. Billy scored 20 points along with nine rebounds and two steals, while Lopez shot 9-for-14 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. Billy continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tosh Mouton, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Point Arena's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43.67 points. As for Calistoga, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

As for Calistoga, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Victory Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Victory Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
