Softball Recap: Rains Finds Playoff Glory Versus Bells

With a playoff win on the line, Rains rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Bells Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 14 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the 11th in a row for Rains, bringing their record up to 19-9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Bells, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 20-6-1.

Rains will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
