Football Recap: Lebanon Piles Up the Points Against Ozark

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lebanon). They claimed a resounding 56-28 victory over the Ozark Tigers. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Brayden Christian was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 125 yards and three scores. Those 125 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Beckett York, who rushed for 73 yards and one touchdown.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Josiah Simmonds, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

The victory got Lebanon back to even at 3-3. As for Ozark, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Lebanon will look to defend their home field on Friday against Kickapoo at 7:00 p.m. The Yellowjackets will be up against the Chiefs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.83 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ozark, they will head out on the road to square off against Glendale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
