The Orlando Science Orcas won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were beaten by Trinity Christian Academy 59-30. Orlando Science was down 42-22 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
When it comes to explaining why Orlando Science lost, one person who can't be blamed is Glen Wickersham. Despite the final result, he scored ten points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenneth Reyes, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
Orlando Science has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 11 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 17-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Orlando Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Trinity Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Warner Christian Academy is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
