Rock Hills came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins dating back to last season, and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the St. John's/Tipton Catholic Blujays by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Grizzlies also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Rock Hills won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 26-24.

Rock Hills can attribute much of their success to Ally Beck, who had 15 digs. That's the most digs Beck has posted since back in October of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why St. John's/Tipton Catholic lost, don't look at Ava Brummer. Despite the final result, she had five aces and three digs.

Rock Hills' record is now 4-0. As for St. John's/Tipton Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rock Hills will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Thunder Ridge on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, St. John's/Tipton Catholic and Pike Valley will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another on Tuesday.
