Verrado entered their tilt with North Canyon on Thursday with 11 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 12. They put the hurt on the Rattlers with a sharp  16-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  26-2  last Tuesday.

 Verrado  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .633. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Canyon only posted  an  OBP of  .250.
Verrado pushed their record up to 12-1 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for North Canyon,  they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
 Looking ahead, Verrado will host Buckeye  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for North Canyon, they will venture away from home to  face off against Paradise Valley  at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday. The Rattlers are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak.
