After two games on the road, Jackson is heading back home. They will take on the Pinckney Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Jackson is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Pirates in Michigan (the Vikings are ranked 161st, while the Pirates are ranked 513th).
Last Friday, Jackson made easy work of the Grizzlies and carried off a 61-41 victory.
Koronnis Davis was nothing short of spectacular: he scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cyron Stamper, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Pinckney had to suffer through a rough 82-46 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pinckney in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.
Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Pinckney, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12.
Jackson didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Pirates when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 54-48 victory. Will Jackson repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
