After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Concordia, the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers were happy to have found some success on Monday. They strolled past Logan View/Scribner-Snyder with points to spare, taking the game 50-34. Given Bishop Neumann's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the are ranked 144th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kolton Kriete, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Grayson Kraus, who scored nine points.
Bishop Neumann pushed their record up to 13-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.1 points per game. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Bishop Neumann will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, they will head out on the road to face off against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
