Softball Recap: Dracut Wins Going Away Against Nashoba Regional

Dracut barely beat Nashoba Regional the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Middies were the clear victors by a 15-9 margin over the Wolves on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Middies, who have now won four matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Dracut has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Nashoba Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dracut will host North Andover at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Nashoba Regional, they will welcome Algonquin Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
