The Boardman Spartans will take on the Crestview Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Crestview will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Boardman extended their winning streak to five on Thursday. Everything went the Spartans' way against Salem as they made off with a 3-0 victory.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-20.

Emma Terlesky and Sadie Satterfield were among the main playmakers for Boardman as the former had 15 assists and two aces and the latter had ten digs and two assists. Terlesky has been hot, having posted 14 or more assists the last five times she's played. Addie Volosin also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Boardman was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last nine contests.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Crestview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Salem on Saturday. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Quakers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Crestview was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-19.
Crestview's win came from a few key players Boardman will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kerrigan Miller, who had ten digs.
Crestview's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Boardman, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's matchup: Boardman has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Crestview struggles in that department as they've been averaging 12.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
