Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Bell County Bobcats walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-28 victory over the Raiders on Monday. Winning may never get old, but Bell County sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
It was another big night for Daniel Thomas, who rushed for 214 yards and four touchdowns. Thomas is absolutely dominating the rushing yard category: he's posted at least 100 every time he's taken the field this season.
Bell County pushed their record up to 13-1 with that victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Hart County, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-1.
Bell County will take on Christian Academy-Louisville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hart County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
