While losing is never fun, University School of Nashville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while The Webb School is ranked 24th).
The Webb School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eli Brown, who scored 14 points. The contest was Brown's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jedidiah Jarrett was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
University School of Nashville's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for The Webb School, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
University School of Nashville will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbia Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Webb School, they will head out on the road to face off against Middle Tennessee Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Middle Tennessee Christian: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while The Webb School has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
