Bald Knob took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They put the hurt on the White County Central Bears with a sharp 14-3 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Dalton Purvis made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.
