While Atkins put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Eastern Guilford. The Camels put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 12-0 win. The Camels haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Atkins' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-15. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Eastern Guilford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

Atkins will head out to take on High Point Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bison have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.18 runs per game on average), something the Camels will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Eastern Guilford, they will take on Ben L. Smith at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
