Southwest Christian School was led to victory by Anna Kate Johnson and Payton Brown. Johnson had 20 digs and one assist, while Brown had eight digs and three aces. What's more, Brown racked up 12 assists, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Emmy Burton also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
Midland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 14-19. As for Southwest Christian School, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-13-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Midland Christian will venture away from home to square off against Buena Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest Christian School, they will head out to take on Fort Worth Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
