The Beecher Buccaneers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Genesee 87-47 at home. That 40 points margin sets a new team best for Beecher this season.
Despite the loss, Genesee still got an impressive performance from Conner Rouse, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds. Rouse continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tristin Aguilar, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Beecher pushed their record up to 6-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game. As for Genesee, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beecher will take on Flint Southwestern Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Flint Southwestern Academy is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for Genesee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bendle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Bendle focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday.
