The Messmer Bishops are on the road again on Monday and plays the Catholic Central Hilltoppers at 7:15 p.m. on February 5th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 106-62, which was the final score in Messmer's tilt against the Patriots on Saturday. Messmer was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-30.
Meanwhile, Catholic Central's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 18th straight loss. They were outmatched by Kenosha Christian Life on the road and fell 91-61.
Messmer has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Catholic Central, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-18.
