The Wahoo Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Plattsmouth 68-31 at home. Wahoo has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 24 points or more this season.
Leading Wahoo to victory were Gretchen Seagren and Erin Golladay. Seagren scored ten points along with six rebounds and three blocks, while Golladay scored 12 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Golladay has scored all season. Ava Lausterer was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Wahoo pushed their record up to 8-5 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Plattsmouth, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
Wahoo will head out on the road to face off against Malcolm at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Malcolm is ranked 50th, while Wahoo is ranked 60th). As for Plattsmouth, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Nebraska City at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Nebraska City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday.
