The biggest upset of the week belonged to Payson, who took down 58th ranked Juab, 47-44.
Spanish Fork extended the longest winning streak in 3A Region 12 this week by beating Delta, 43-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Dons.
Spanish Fork's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jason Money threw for 213 and two touchdowns and Cameron Money had 137 yards receiving. On the ground Braxton Argyle chipped in 137 yards. Joey Anderson helped Spanish Fork's passing attack out by catching two balls for 50 yards.
Carbon's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Dinos feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dakota Cisneros has thrown for 927 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Jordan Blanc has 25 catches for 497 yards. Blanc leads the league in rushing with 275 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Spanish Fork takes on second place North Sanpete. Last week, Kirk Chambers' team defeated the Rabbits, while North Sanpete bested Carbon.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Dons take on the Hawks. Spanish Fork has allowed 91 points this season, while North Sanpete has given up 152. The Dons allowed 7 points last week as they defeated Delta.
Matt Roberts' team took down the Dinos 46-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
