NFL Yet Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was EUDY LARA-CASTILLO, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was ABEL RUIZ, who scored 23 points along with three steals.
NFL Yet Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for St. John Paul II Catholic, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. NFL Yet Academy will take on Trivium Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trivium Prep is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for St. John Paul II Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. John Paul II Catholic in Arizona (Heritage Academy is ranked 119th, while St. John Paul II Catholic is ranked 272nd).
