The Independence/Gilmanton Indees will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Houston Hurricanes at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Independence/Gilmanton kicked off their season on the road back in November and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by Boyceville on the road and fell 66-31.
Meanwhile, Houston lost to Lyle/Pacelli on the road by a decisive 66-51 margin on Friday. Houston has struggled against Lyle/Pacelli recently, as their match on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Zach Olson, who scored 18 points along with 5 assists and 4 steals. Morgan Rohweder was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Independence/Gilmanton's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Houston, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
