He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Alameda kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 17 consecutive matches.
Northfield hit Gateway with a 12-run sixth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Olympians came up short against the Nighthawks, falling 20-1.

Gateway's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Alameda has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Gateway, though, as they've been averaging 9.3 hits. Given Alameda's sizable advantage in that area, the Olympians will need to find a way to close that gap.
Alameda took their win against Gateway when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0 score. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Olympians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
