The Pleasanton Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Loomis Wolves, and things went their way on Friday too. Pleasanton secured a 57-51 W over Loomis. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pleasanton.
Pleasanton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Natalie Rasmussen, who scored 20 points. Rasmussen continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Tyra Sekutera, who scored 16 points.
Loomis' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carly Stewart, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zeigh Booe, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Pleasanton's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Loomis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.
Pleasanton will head out on the road to take on Sumner-Eddyville-Miller at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sumner-Eddyville-Miller is coming into the match with 11 straight losses at home, meaning Pleasanton will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. Loomis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
