This season hasn't been kind to the East Ridge Knights, who are still winless after their 15th game. They took a serious blow against Lake Minneola on Friday, falling 77-44. East Ridge has not had much luck with Lake Minneola recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, East Ridge still got an impressive performance from Nicholas Vazquez, who scored 16 points along with two steals. That was a full 36.4% of East Ridge's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Central Florida Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 371st, while Lake Minneola is ranked 169th).
