After flying high against the Prairie Heights Panthers last Tuesday, the Satanta Indians came back down to earth. Satanta was outmatched by Ingalls at home and fell 54-26. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Satanta has suffered since December 1, 2023.
Ingalls' win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lane Lightner, who scored 18 points along with two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lightner has scored all season. Layton Simon was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with nine rebounds and six assists.
Satanta dropped their record down to 5-9 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Ingalls, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.
Satanta will be playing at home against Minneola at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ingalls' road trip will continue as they head out to face Bucklin at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th.
