Last Friday, Harmony School of Discovery took a serious blow against Brazos, falling 105-52. Harmony School of Discovery has not had much luck with Brazos recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Harmony School of Discovery's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Adedayo Adelakum, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds, and Messiah Graves who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Adelakum has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Daniel Adeoye, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Van Vleck beat East Bernard 47-37 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Van Vleck.
Corey Austin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Van Vleck's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Burks, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Harmony School of Discovery bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Van Vleck, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
Harmony School of Discovery might still be hurting after the 69-48 loss they got from Van Vleck in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Harmony School of Discovery avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
