The third road match was the charm for the Seekonk Warriors, as they earned their first road win of the season. They secured a 48-44 W over West Bridgewater on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Seekonk also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Lucas Pereira was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Noah Beausoleil was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Seekonk's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for West Bridgewater, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seekonk will square off against Case at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Bridgewater, they will head out on the road to face off against Old Rochester Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Old Rochester Regional knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully West Bridgewater likes a good challenge.
